MicroStrategy is denied into the S&P 500 index, JPMorgan warns other index providers that may reconsider

Source: Binance
Despite meeting technical requirements, MicroStrategy has been denied to be included in the S&P 500 index, highlighting the index committee’s reluctance to include Bitcoin fund companies in it, according to ChainCatcher. JPMorgan warned that the rejection could prompt other index providers to reconsider incorporating heavily-holding companies in Bitcoin. Analyst Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou pointed out that the decision was a setback not only for MicroStrategy, but also for corporate crypto-funding managers who use their balance sheet to accumulate Bitcoin strategies. The S&P 500 decision may mark the limit of this trend.
