Regulators weigh significant bets on cryptocurrency pairs ETFs and market trust

Source: CoinWorld
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is reviewing more than 90 cryptocurrency ETF applications, mainly targeting spot bitcoins as well as futures-based bitcoin and Ethereum products, reflecting growing institutional demand. While no spot Bitcoin ETF has been approved yet, futures-based cryptocurrency ETFs already exist. Against the backdrop of the industry’s optimistic attitude towards regulatory progress, the SEC is evaluating market readiness and investor protection. Analysts warn that approvals may spur capital inflows, but also underscores the need for regulatory transparency and investor education.
