According to BlockBeats, on September 11, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics announced the August Producer Price Index (PPI) unexpectedly fell by 0.1% (expected +0.3%), with an annual growth rate slowing to 2.6% (previous value of 3.1%), indicating that companies may be absorbing some import tariff costs. In addition, the August Consumer Price Index (CPI) will be announced later today, with the market generally expecting annual growth rate to rise to 2.9%, while the core CPI will increase by 3.1% year-on-year. As labor market data has been significantly revised downward and signs of economic slowdown emerge, the inflation report will become the last key data before the Fed's September meeting, and the pace of subsequent interest rate cuts will be kept in place. Recently, many institutions pointed out that tariff costs and rising food prices may continue to push up prices, and there are signs of rebound in service industry inflation. If the CPI data exceeds expectations, the market may re-evaluate the space for subsequent interest rate cuts, and even worry about the risk of stagflation. Technically, BTC has a large amount of liquidation in the 114,000 range above the short term, which is the main pressure zone in the near future. If the data is too favorable, it is expected to accelerate short cover and impact the liquidity zone above the 115,000. On the contrary, if inflation data exceeds expectations, triggers doubts about strengthening the US dollar and delaying interest rate cuts, the 111,000 range below BTC is the first support, and the 108,500–109,000 liquidity zone may be backtested after the loss. Bitunix analysts recommend: In the context of unexpected decline in PPI but CPI still has upside risks, traders are advised to reduce exposure before the CPI is announced and closely monitor the performance of the BTC 114,000 pressure zone and 111,000 support level to cope with potentially drastic fluctuations.
