PANews reported on September 11 that South Korea is lifting restrictions that have previously prevented cryptocurrency companies from being identified as risky companies, providing these companies with new opportunities to enjoy tax incentives and financing support. At a cabinet meeting held on Tuesday, the South Korean Ministry of SMEs and Entrepreneurship said it had passed a partial amendment to the Risk Enterprises Act Implementation Order to lift restrictions on virtual asset trading and brokerage business. The change will take effect on September 16, when crypto companies will be allowed to apply for risk enterprise certification, thereby obtaining options such as tax relief and financial support.
