3AC sends subpoena to Sam Bankman-Fried over FTX closures $1.5 billion liquidation

Three Arrows Capital has issued subpoenas to Sam Bankman-Fried, Caroline Ellison and Ryan Salame alleging that FTX illegally liquidated more than $1.5 billion in positions in 2022. Bankman-Fried is scheduled to testify in prison on October 14, 2025. FTX disputed the allegations, saying it liquidated $82 million only under the terms of the contract. Meanwhile, FTX continues to repay creditors, with $6.2 billion in repayment since 2022, but disputes over excluding jurisdiction remain.
