Flaws in Fast Code: How hastily smart contracts lead to $2.6 million vulnerability in Nemo protocol

Source: CoinWorld
The Nemo protocol on the Arbitrum platform suffered a $2.6 million attack on unaudited smart contracts deployed by external developers, resulting in unauthorized withdrawals in its liquidity pool. The platform has suspended contract updates, initiated internal investigations, and plans to compensate affected users from its insurance funds. The stolen funds have been transferred to Ethereum and Optimism platforms through cross-chain transactions, which has brought more difficulties to the recovery efforts.
