Gemini founder clashes with CFTC presidential candidate; White House suspends confirmation vote

Source: CoinWorld
On September 11, Brian Quintenz, chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and a16z global policy director, published a screenshot of Signal's chat with Gemini founders Tyler Winklevoss and Cameron Winklevoss on social media, claiming they were blocking his nomination because he refused to promise to push the CFTC's cultural reform. Screenshots show that the Vinclavos brothers asked Quantz to make “correcting the Gemini incident” a priority and threatened to contact Trump directly. The White House then asked the Senate to withdraw its vote for confirmation against Quantz. (Decryption)
