Gemini founder and CFTC president candidate have conflicts, White House stops confirming vote

Odaily Planet Daily News Brian Quintenz, Trump's nominated CFTC chairman candidate and a16z global policy director, published a screenshot of a Signal chat with Gemini founders Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss on social platforms on September 11, saying that his nomination was blocked by two people for refusing to promise to promote CFTC cultural reform. Screenshots show that the Winklevoss brothers asked it to “correct the Gemini encounter” as their top priority and threatened to contact Trump directly. The White House has since asked the Senate to withdraw its vote for confirmation for Quintenz. (Decrypt)
