Chainlink founder says hope to improve fairness in U.S. elections

Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov announced that after establishing a preliminary partnership with the U.S. Department of Commerce, Chainlink's decentralized oracle network is expanding its cooperation with multiple U.S. federal agencies to bring government functions to the chain. Although the specific timing is uncertain, Nazarov highlights progress in data integration and cross-chain projects. He also revealed ongoing discussions with state governments and expressed his ambition to ultimately support the on-chain elections, citing the readiness of existing technologies and stressing that implementation barriers are at the political rather than the technical level. Chainlink currently supports more than 14 blockchain ecosystems, providing proven off-chain data for smart contracts.
