Huobi HTX reported that according to CCTV News, the U.S. Department of Labor Inspector General's Office issued a statement announcing that it has launched a review to evaluate the challenges faced by the Bureau of Labor Statistics in the process of economic data collection and reporting. The Office of the Inspector General pointed out in a statement that the Bureau of Labor Statistics had previously announced that it would reduce the collection of data on two inflation indicators that play a key role in the U.S. economy, namely the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and the Producer Price Index (PPI). In addition, the Bureau of Labor Statistics recently lowered the estimate of the number of new jobs in the monthly Employment Situation Report.
