StarkWare reduces Bitcoin verification to be able to be put into pocket

StarkWare has launched a lightweight Bitcoin verification tool for mobile devices that verifies transactions using zero-knowledge proof without downloading a 450GB blockchain, eliminating the need for full nodes. Built on StarkNet infrastructure, the tool reduces compute and storage needs, aims to promote Bitcoin popularity in areas with limited resources and supports mobile-first DeFi platforms. Currently, the solution is conducting beta testing with some partners, with the goal of achieving larger promotions this year, enhancing accessibility and reducing reliance on centralized services.
