LINEA TGE opens a 90-day claim window, intending to airdrop more than 9.36 billion tokens

Odaily Planet Daily News Linea, the Ethereum Layer 2 network created by Consensys, opened its claim for its native asset LINEA through a Token Generation Activity (TGE) on Wednesday, and opened a 90-day claim window that lasts until December 9. According to official documents previously released by Linea, the total amount of LINEA tokens is about 72 billion, and 85% (61.2 billion) is allocated to the ecosystem for community development, infrastructure construction and Ethereum public product support, and 75% of the ecological funds will be gradually released in the next 10 years. 10% (7.2 billion) are used for airdrops, rewarding early users, builders and MetaMask ecosystem participants. The tokens are fully unlocked and have no lock-up period. The initial circulation volume at TGE is about 22%, and about 15.8 billion LINEAs enter circulation, mainly distributed through airdrops and liquidity incentives (such as Linea Ignition program).
