According to BlockBeats, on September 10, according to the official documents previously released by Linea, the total amount of LINEA tokens is about 72 billion, and 85% (61.2 billion) are allocated to the ecosystem for community development, infrastructure construction and Ethereum public product support. 75% of the ecological funds will be gradually released in the next 10 years. 10% (7.2 billion) are used for airdrops, rewarding early users, builders and MetaMask ecosystem participants, and the tokens are fully unlocked and no lock-up period. The initial circulation volume at TGE is about 22%, and about 15.8 billion LINEAs enter circulation, which are allocated mainly through airdrops and liquidity incentives (such as Linea Ignition Program). LINEA tokens are not used to pay gas fees (still using ETH), but serve as an ecosystem incentive and funding coordination tool, with specific uses including: rewarding liquidity providers of the DeFi protocol, public products supporting the Ethereum ecosystem, incentivizing community activities and developer contributions. Linea introduces a dual destruction mechanism: 20% of Layer 2 ETH net income is directly destroyed, enhancing Ethereum's economic model. 80% is used to repurchase and destroy LINEA tokens, aiming to reduce circulation supply and increase the scarcity of tokens.
