Linea opens a 90-day claim window in TGE, with a total of more than 9.36 billion LINEA airdrops

PANews reported on September 10 that according to The Block, Linea, an Ethereum Layer2 network created by Consensys, opened the claim of its native asset LINEA through a token generation activity (TGE) on Wednesday, and opened a 90-day claim window period that lasts until December 9. The TGE includes more than 9.36 billion LINEA tokens allocated to qualifying addresses. Unclaimed tokens will be returned to the Linea Alliance Eco Fund to support the Linea and Ethereum ecosystems. The project party took a qualification snapshot in July and launched the query portal last week. The project party stated that users must use the same address holding the balance of LXP/LXP-L tokens to claim. The distribution framework previously announced shows that 85% of the token supply will be allocated to the ecosystem, including 10% fully unlocked to early users and developers, and 75% of the ecosystem funds. The fund is supervised by the Linea Alliance, which includes Consensys, Eigen Labs, ENS, SharpLink Gaming and Status. The token has no team or venture capital allocation share and will not be used for on-chain governance, but will be jointly decided by like-minded institutions.
