Bitmain accuses Orb Energy of embezzling Bitcoin and damaging mining machines, demanding that the bankruptcy court return equipment

According to ChainCatcher, Bitmain has filed a U.S. bankruptcy court to reclaim thousands of bitcoin miners it hosted in Orb Energy, accusing the Texas company of misappropriating digital assets, blocking access and damaging multimillion-dollar equipment, according to The Miner Mag.
In an emergency motion filed on August 27, Bitmain said that under the custodial sales agreement, Orb Energy’s 2,700 Antminer servers at the Van Vleck facility remain Bitmain’s property and should not be included in Orb’s bankruptcy assets.
