Bitmain accuses Orb Energy of misappropriating Bitcoin and damaging miners

Odaily Planet Daily News Bitmain has filed a U.S. bankruptcy court to reclaim thousands of bitcoin miners it hosts in Orb Energy, accusing the Texas company of misappropriating digital assets, blocking access and damaging multimillion-dollar equipment. In an emergency motion filed on August 27, Bitmain said that under the custodial sales agreement, Orb Energy’s 2,700 Antminer servers at the Van Vleck facility remain Bitmain’s property and should not be included in Orb’s bankruptcy assets.
