Vietnam uses the ghost of Bitcoin to inspire tech ambitions

Vietnam unveiled the world's fifth largest Bitcoin founder Satoshi Nakamoto in Nha Trang. This 10-meter-high bronze monument is located in Nha Trang. Funded by a private technology agency and supported by local universities, the project aims to build Vietnam into a regional fintech hub. The Vietnamese government is cautious in supporting blockchain, believing that as the penetration of cryptocurrency continues to rise, the number of cryptocurrency wallet users will exceed 1.3 million by 2023, and blockchain technology will become part of Vietnam's broader digital innovation strategy. An innovation park will also be built next to the statue for startups and research.
