According to Shenchao TechFlow, on September 10, SEC Chairman Paul Atkins announced the launch of Project Crypto at the OECD Global Financial Markets Roundtable in Paris, aiming to modernize securities rules to support on-chain markets. Atkins said the SEC will provide clear and predictable regulatory rules that emphasize that most crypto tokens are not securities, ensuring entrepreneurs can raise funds on-chain without legal uncertainty. The project supports innovation in the super application trading platform, allowing the platform to provide transaction, lending and pledge services under a single regulatory framework to avoid excessive regulatory burdens. Atkins mentioned that artificial intelligence and blockchain combined to promote the development of agency finance, and the United States will cooperate with international partners such as the EU to promote the modernization of digital asset supervision.
