Bybit embeds Mantle into its transaction core, and DeFi and CeFi collide

Bybit and Mantle Network announced strategic integration of Mantle 2.0 into the Bybit ecosystem, connecting DeFi and CeFi by combining centralized liquidity and decentralized governance. Bybit executives are now serving as their core advisor, and the new development roadmap focuses on building institutional-level infrastructure for tokenized real-world assets (RWAs). Mantle’s native token, MNT, has shifted from governance to practical functions within Bybit, and its value is linked to Bybit’s daily trading volume – spot trading volumes reach $3-5 billion and derivative trading volumes exceed $25 billion. Bybit’s exclusive products and $200 million eco-fund aim to boost its application rate, although concerns about the extent of decentralization remain as Bybit’s growing influence.
