Although lagging behind in the development of large language models, Europe is not behind in the application of artificial intelligence, with companies such as Accenture and Schneider Electric showing strong integration and value creation capabilities. Programs such as the EU’s AI Office, as well as the “Artificial Intelligence Factory” and the 20 billion euro InvestAI Fund, are aimed at strengthening infrastructure, although the challenges of energy and data centers remain. Paris-based Mistral AI is expected to raise 2 billion euros at a valuation of $14 billion, a sign of growing confidence in European artificial intelligence sovereign ambitions.
