Huobi HTX is domineering and chief technology officer of hardware wallet developer Ledger, Charles Guillemet, posted on the X platform that the previous NPM attack that could replace the wallet address did not have a major impact due to early detection, and there were almost no victims. According to his previous disclosure, a well-known developer's NPM account was hacked, causing the JavaScript ecosystem to face risks. Malicious loads can steal funds by replacing encrypted addresses. If you use a hardware wallet, please pay attention to every transaction before signing. It is not clear whether the attacker can steal mnemonic words directly from the software wallet.
