ASML establishes strategic partnerships with Mistral AI to strengthen AI integration

Dutch lithography machine manufacturer ASML has reached a long-term strategic partnership with French artificial intelligence company Mistral AI. The collaboration aims to explore the integration of artificial intelligence models into ASML’s products, R&D and operations to improve product performance and speed up customer product launch. ASML announced in a statement released on Tuesday that it is committed to inject €1.3 billion as the lead investor in Mistral AI Series C funding. The investment allowed ASML to hold about 11% of Mistral AI, becoming the largest shareholder of Mistral AI and gaining a place in the Mistral AI Strategic Committee. The investment is part of Mistral AI’s €1.7 billion funding round, which valued the company at about €11.7 billion.
