French AI company Mistral AI completes 1.7 billion euros Series C financing, led by lithography machine giant ASML

PANews reported on September 9 that according to ASML's official website, Dutch lithography machine manufacturer ASML.O signed a long-term strategic cooperation agreement with French AI company Mistral AI, which will explore the application of AI models in ASML products, R&D and operations, and improve the speed and performance of customer products to market. According to a statement released on Tuesday, ASML will invest 1.3 billion euros and hold about 11% of the shares, becoming Mistral's largest shareholder and won a seat on the Mistral AI Strategic Committee. The investment is part of Mistral's 1.7 billion euro financing round, bringing its valuation to approximately 11.7 billion euros.
