Odaily Planet Daily News: The Hang Seng Index opened high and closed high in the morning, once rising above 26,000 points and continued to hit a new high since October 21, with a high of 26,027.94 points rising nearly 400 points in the day. The index fell before midday, and the Hang Seng Technology Index's growth narrowed to 1%. As of the midday closing, the Hang Seng Index closed up 0.8% to 25839.36 points, and the Science and Technology Index closed up 1.03% to 581308 points, with the Hang Seng Index market trading volume reaching HK$159.677 billion.
