Source: ChainCatcher
According to ChainCatcher, the Senate Banking Committee will vote on Stephen Milan’s Fed nomination for the nomination for Fed governor on Wednesday (September 10). The move could allow him to get full Senate approval ahead of next week's key vote on rate cuts. At the upcoming FAP meeting, it is expected to be held from Sept. 16 to 17, as job growth slows, which could cut interest rates for the first time since December. In addition, according to people familiar with the matter, the Senate may vote to confirm Milan’s appointment on September 15.
