The U.S. Currency Supervision Agency will take action to eliminate "debankization" phenomenon

Huobi HTX reported that the U.S. Currency Complaints Agency (OCC) announced on Monday that it would take steps to eliminate the so-called "debanking" phenomenon, responding to calls from industry groups and Republicans to end the deemed unfair practice. OCC head Jonathan Gould said: "OCC is taking steps to end weaponization of the financial system" and added that institutions will work to eradicate banks' illegal discrimination against customers based on political or religious beliefs.
