The US Currency Supervision Agency takes action to eliminate "debankization" phenomenon

Odaily Planet Daily News The U.S. Currency Complaints Agency (OCC) announced on Monday that it would take steps to eliminate so-called "debanization" in response to calls from industry groups and Republicans to end the deemed unfair practice. "The OCC is taking steps to end the weaponization of the financial system," said Jonathan Gould, head of the OCC, adding that institutions will work to eradicate banks' illegal discrimination against customers based on political or religious beliefs.
