California man sentenced to 51 months in prison and $26.87 million in compensation for international digital asset fraud

According to Wu, a 39-year-old man named He Shengsheng, a 39-year-old man in San Gabriel Valley, California, was sentenced to 51 months of federal prison for participating in international digital asset investment fraud and required $26.87 million in compensation. The fraud is operated through the Cambodian Fraud Center, with an amount involved in the case of US$36.9 million. The funds were laundered layer by layer through shell companies, international bank accounts and digital asset wallets, and were eventually converted into USDT and transferred to Cambodia.
