Ultraman Sam says robots make social media feel "false"

Source: CoinWorld
OpenAI CEO and Reddit shareholder Sam Altman expressed concerns that robots can hardly distinguish between human-written social media posts and AI-generated content. He noticed this when he was observing the r/Claudecode sub-section, where many users claimed to have switched from Anthropic's Claude Code to OpenAI Codex. Altman speculates that factors such as interpersonal communication, social media participation incentives, and possible “artificial grassroots” effects, influenced by a law master’s degree, lead to perceived unreality. He acknowledged that OpenAI's own model was trained based on Reddit data, and admitted that there were some problems with the launch of GPT 5.0, which led to strong opposition from users. Altman concluded that on platforms like X and Reddit, discussions related to AI now feel far less true than before.
