Coinbase will support Polkadot and Kusama network transition from the current relay chain network to the Asset Hub network

PANews September 8th news, Coinbase Assets said on the X platform that Polkadot and Kusama networks are transitioning from the current relay chain network to the Asset Hub network. Coinbase will support this migration, and KSM and DOT token users from the relay chain network will automatically migrate to the Asset Hub network. Kusama is expected to be upgraded on October 7, 2025, and Polkadot is expected to be upgraded on November 4, 2025. Before the migration: Kusama's sending and receiving functions will be temporarily disable from October 6 to 8; Polkadot's sending and receiving functions will be disable from November 3 to 5; Polkadot's pledge and destaking functions will be disable from November 3 to 5.
