MiningStore launched a 10-megawatt air-cooled Bitcoin mining facility in Iowa, expanding its MISO grid operations with over 3,500 ASIC miner slots. Phase 1 5 MW is in operation, with the remaining 5 MW expected to be completed in October 2025. The container-based facility aims to achieve 99% uptime and integrates demand response capabilities to support grid reliability. CEO John Paul Baric stressed that as Bitcoin mining gradually evolves into an asset class, the facility will be committed to providing cost-effective power and agency-level operations.
