According to ChainCatcher, Chris Turner of Dutch International said in the report that the dollar may receive short-term support this week due to potentially higher-than-expected U.S. inflation data and upcoming corporate tax payments. Economists expect data released on Thursday showed inflation rose 0.3% month-on-month in August, with a risk of a 0.4% increase. The U.S. corporate tax payment deadline is September 15, which may also support the U.S. dollar. Dutch International expects the dollar index to rise to 98.5 this week, but the dollar will be under pressure again after the Federal Reserve meeting next week.
